About the Author
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Monsignor Frank Bognanno, a retired priest in the Diocese of Des Moines, has faithfully served the Church for nearly sixty years. Before retirement, he served at six parishes and continues to assist at parishes around the diocese today.
Msgr. was the founder of Emmaus Spirituality Program for Priests and author of Contemplating Priestly Spirituality. He was a host of weekly programs on EWTN Catholic TV, (1981-1990). EWTN is comprised of 11 networks broadcasting in multiple languages, seven days a week to more than 300 million households in 145 countries.
He is chaplain for Des Moines Legatus and for the Knights of Malta and a member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre.
He also serves as the spiritual director of the biennial Christ Our Life Catholic International Conference.
